A new multi-sport facility is coming to Lansing

Capital Sportsplex is planned as a climate-controlled, multi-sport destination where Lansing-area athletes and organizations can train, compete, host events, and connect throughout the year.
One facility, multiple sports
The planned 134,400-square-foot venue brings together a full-size 11v11 turf field, a dedicated 9v9 field, ten pickleball courts, four volleyball courts, three futsal courts, and flexible training and event space.
Designed for daily programs and destination events
The flexible inventory is intended to support club and school training, leagues, tournaments, camps, clinics, open play, private rentals, meetings, and large-scale events under one roof.
A year-round community home
Beyond playing surfaces, the facility vision includes concessions, modern restrooms, meeting space, and operational support for athletes, families, coaches, organizers, and visitors from across Michigan.
